The Indiana Resource Center for Autism Announces Summer Institute on Autism Spectrum Disorders, June 16-June 20, 2008. A 5-day Summer Institute on Educating and Supporting Individuals Across the Autism Spectrum will be conducted at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community in Bloomington, IN. Dates are June 16-June 20 beginning at 8:30 each day and ending at 3:30. Topics covered include: introduction to autism spectrum disorders, the role of movement disorders, person centered planning, functional behaviroal assessments, communication programming, visual supports, social skills assessment and programming, instruction strategies, and structured teaching. The cost of the workshop is $350.
